Update: Apparently LastPass presents as the same browser that I'm trying to use to get there without it. Created a new profile in Edge, deleted the old one, signed in to my Microsoft account and Last Pass was working again. Problem was my some subtle problem with my old profile in Edge. ![]() That didn't provide a work-around for this problem (yet), but it's an interesting extension *smile*. Both browsers, Windows and LastPass add-ins were all up to date. The built-in LastPass password generator creates random, unique passwords for you whenever you need to change or update an old. ![]() The next time you go to log in, LastPass will autofill them for you. The other thing was that I found a User-Agent Switcher extension that allows you to set the browser you want to be seen as, and also the OS that you want the web site to see. When you create or update credentials, LastPass saves them to your encrypted vault. If you are using the outdated version then you are prone to issues with not only the LastPass extension but all you are using. Can probably find out what that is by going to a site with LastPass that tells you what browser it's seeing. There you can configure when Lastpass logs out. Click on it again and select 'account options', then 'extension preferences'. Click on the Lastpass extension and log in. Apparently B of A likes whatever browser user agent LastPass uses. When I log into my LastPass account and the browser does not have the extension installed, a red spinner is in the middle of the screen and my entire page is greyed out. Cleared my cache, uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled it - neither works. Stopped working with the Chrome extension and cannot log into Lastpass on Chrome (I log in, it flashes my vault, then it reimposes the login screen). Not only did B of A not recognize my Firefox browser as Firefox, also LastPass was not working on the B of A site to fill in my user id and password, and I'll be darned if I'm typing that 16-character random password. Lastpass works on my phone (iphone) and Safari. Found a workaround for this particular issue. ![]()
